IDK, man. I don't remember what the draft pick was. Wasn't it something like JM gets Mikey's 9th rounder and Mikey gets JM's 18th? Not butt hurt, I didn't even make an offer for Lawrie and wouldn't have paid that steep of a price. Just pointing out how unequivocally masterful JM will look if this trade isn't vetoed...
Lawrie has been considered a flop this year after all the hype. That's not to say he isn't a top 30 keeper option going forward, but does that make up for the disparity shown?

Well, 5 keepers are the first 5 rounds. 5x12 = 60 players. 9th round would mean there's 48 more players taken. So...
That's what I said earlier. I wouldn't have a problem if JM gave up enough to make this happen and I certainly don't blame him from stealing from Mikey, considering he is playing for next year and shipping away everything for a set of keepers, but the player to be named (who turns out to be Kendrick) is so inconsequential that he shouldn't even be owned in this league.

he's not keeping either. he's getting a pick and a guy he will keep. that how win now/win later works. the chance for a rebuilding team to improve their draft picks is immsense value. you thought I was getting a 9th, he is. the fact that you don't think that changes anything...
