Don't want to fuck him up like the Rangers did with Neftali.

He's got nasty off speed stuff too. He's not just a super fastball machine. He's only 24, so his off speed stuff can get better.
lol, Neftali was never that good and he's certainly not close to CHAPMAN.

Sorry, brah. I have a few pieces that I won't trade:
Long term keepers (not moving at all)
Trout
Harper
Verlander
Short term keepers (not moving until the offseason)
Chapman
Kimbrel
Anyone else is fair game, which, includes but is not limited to: Cain, Sale, Perez and/or whoever else someone finds attractive on my team.

Cain does sound appealing. Panda + Cash for him?

By killing you, of course.

Off-speed just makes it worse as guys will already be in swing mode every time they come up against him because if they aren't, there going to look at 3 pitches blow right by.
The guy is tailor made to be a closer. Not enough teams see the value in closers and try to stretch them out instead of just keeping them there. Why throw away the opportunity to have the closest thing to a sure thing 9th that you can?

Well then, you won't be able to access my account to make the deal happen.

Shit, my plan has been foiled.
And JM, if Chapman has half the potential as a starter as the ability he has closing the game, you move him to the rotation. His fantasy worth obviously would go down, but relievers come cheap and any schlub off the street can have a good year. Look at Fernando Rodney this year. Joaquin Benoit came out of nowhere and did great a few years ago in Tampa, as did Soriano. If Chapman can handle starters innings you throw him out there because 200 innings from a starter is more useful than 70-80 innings from a reliever.

You really wouldn't trade Stanton for Cabrera?

HAMILTON
Oh wait he struck out.
Dominant ace > dominant closer. It's up to the Reds if they want to gamble, but it's worth it. Their starters are less than stellar. Cueto is pretty good. That's it.
