No you misunderstand. I didn't know if we were forced to keep all 5. I was unclear on our options. I do remember you guys discussing it, but was pretty sure there wasn't a concrete conclusion. I've never done a keeper league in any fantasy sport. This was my first time ever playing baseball.

I also said if we could throw players back, that I'd do that. It's obviously the best option and it's not close. Don't keep pitchers...draft hitters. Duh.

Ok, gotcha.

I just mean it's extremely hard to rebuild if you have to keep 5 guys. Guys go back in the draft and you can't draft them because you have to keep 5 guys worse than guys available. The only reason to keep someone is because you can't draft someone that you'd rather have. That's what the keeping part is all about.

Yeah I get that. That part of it definitely makes sense. But also the rich can get richer. Drop your pitchers and draft early hitters. Pitching is pretty damn deep.

Flex had mentioned that if you drop your pitchers you have to draft pitchers as something that could be done. That makes sense too and closes what is kinda a loophole.

I'm fine with enforcing that you're first 5 picks must be 3 hitters are 2 pitchers. For fairness. Teams that should have a problem with this are those that intend to "stream" pitchers.
