He means ESPN rankings. If he's not keeping anyone that means he has no one in the top 60. How does not being able to draft anyone within the top 100 in anyway help him improve his team.

Btw, Granderson and Craig are both in the top 50 for ESPN's 2013 hitter ranks.

Clearly not that dire if he's got two guys in the top 50.

This isn't a provision, it's the norm...

I'm not saying he has no one in the top 60, I mean in the event that someone did. Maybe I did think he didn't. Who cares, it doesn't matter. What you're proposing in a provision and one that makes it essentially impossible to rebuild effectively. If you're keeping 5 guys it probably means you have 5 guys better than anyone that will be available, in which case why don't you let the guys that don't have a chance to get some good players?

If Granderson gets traded before keepers get locked, I'd let Granderson go. That short porch in the Bronx pads his stats quite a bit. Personally, up to him. I'd keep Craig undoubtedly. If I were in his shoes, I'd think long and hard about Jennings with Upton out of Tampa now. Pitching: Sale & Chapman. Both tons of upside. Both had career years and bursted onto the scene.

The players who are kept aren't disclosed until selecting keepers is locked. I mean, you could go through the rosters and assume who people are keeping, but you won't actually know until it's too late.

Well yeah, but if he doesn't go to every owner and ask them who their keepers are right before the lock date, there's no way to be completely sure.

Not thrilled with any of those 3.
