I'd have to think it over and look into it. I'm fine with Verlander & Cabrera for Trout & Strasburg, but I'm not sure on Jones for Kemp.

re: WF Baseball Keeper League - Draft = Wed, Mar 6 @ 10pm CT. Lock keepers ASAP.
Gonzalez's numbers are what they are from an immensely slow start. Will he get back to his numbers from 2 years ago? Probably not but they'll probably better reflect what he did in the second half last year which is FAR better than the first half. Post all star 290 ABs, .317 avg, 12 HR, 63 RBI. Pre allstar 339 ABs, 283 avg, 6 HRs, 45 RBIs.
I don't really care what his Batting average on balls in play is and until it's a category we can win I won't. This isn't a REAL LIFE trade, it's a fantasy trade and the only things you should be worry about is the categories we actually count.
Castro is 22 and improving yearly. If anyone of them are likely to go down in rank the most it's Reyes, followed by Cutch. Cutch even more so possibly as his second half of the season was nothing like the first. Castro will likely improve and all logic suggests such.

But it's TROUT and STRASBURG, potential #1 hitter and #1 pitcher for years to come.
EDIT: Well BABIP kinda reinforces who had better luck than others. If someone has a BABIP of, say .250 one year, they are a strong positive regression candidate. It can help make a prediction for the future, which was my point. High BABIP (.351 with Dodgers) = higher chance of even a slight regression (career BABIP .324). Reyes wasn't even .300 BABIP, which was a few points below his career average. While that's not the only way to predict a guy bouncing back or regressing, it's one of the first stats to look at.

The only thing to really consider PP is whether you think he'll do better than 299, 18 HR and 108 RBIs and more importantly whether he'll do better than ranked 39th. I'm pretty confident in saying he will.

lol
I love how one trade can have 2 people CONVINCED that I committed robbery and someone else telling me I lost. Clearly someone is missing something.

Alrighty then.
And JM i didn't say it was robbery but it's certainly not a trade I'd do.
