I'd consent JIM, but like I said, this rather impossible to get everyone to consent.

lolgasuck. I eliminated you in the first round. No I don't care if you didn't change your lineups, they were still set. :kobe3

Can you imagine how badly I would have dominated this year in a daily league? Are you aware of the players that are on my bench on a weekly basis?

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** -

I've been saying your team is solid all year. You should probably forgot to draft every year.
:lmao okay.

Pierce
Manu
Boozer
Terry
Stuckey
Felton
Caron Bulter
Chalmers
Zaza
Camby
Haywood

those were the players that were drafted to me in order.

Manu has been either awful compared to his usual standards or injured throughout the year.

Pierce and Boozer have both been good, but highly inconsistent throughout the season.

Terry, Stuckey, and Felton are all chuckers that literally good for nothing, especially considering the rounds they were drafted in. Out of the three Felton has provided the most production, but I could have had a better player at the spot he was drafted.

After Felton comes a bunch of players that were awful and all were dropped. The bottom 3 didn't even last a week.

Let's compare this to my WS league team.

Irving
Vasquez
Asik
Conley
Gay
Pierce
Marc
Pau
David West
Hickson
Iggy
Faried

Now Irving, Marc, and West came to my team through the waiver wire after they got back from injuries, but my team is still beyond solid and would have destroyed your team in a daily league setup. It isn't luck that I make these super teams in basically EVERY league I'm apart on this site(and that one for this team) and my team would have been far better off had I been drafting. :kobe

oh and I never "forgot" to draft, I was told the draft was on date that was good for everyone and so it had to be on that date which was impossible for me to draft on as I didn't have any way of drafting. Suffice to say, my team was carried mostly by my keepers and Pierce who I might have picked anyways.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** -

I don't give a shit who's on your team.

Daily is better. I haven't set my lineups for this league since like January when Rondo got hurt. GA hasn't set his lineups since like the 2nd week of the season and he finished in 3rd place in the regular season standings. That alone should speak volumes to how bad weekly lineups are.

And auction free agency is pure shit. Point blank.

And hey JM, I bet your team would be doing better in the playoffs right now if you had daily lineups and were able to take those 3 injured players and put them on the bench for players that are actually playing...

How is auction free agency bull? It's the fairest way to do it.

I don't know why you guys bitch about stuff all season when you have every opportunity to get things changed all off-season but say nothing. I tell people CHECK SETTINGS as they CAN'T be changed after the draft and no one says anything.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** -

I would have drafted differently and I wouldn't have picked up several projects with my late picks if we were doing daily. I do like the waiver system we have in baseball right now, but what would you suggest Notorious?

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** -

The main reason I think auction is bullshit is because you can't see what others are bidding. We only get a certain budget to spend on FA's to begin with.

The two main problems with not be able to see other's bids are:
A. There are times where you have to overspend on a certain player, more than what any other person was willing to spend. Why should I have to spend $30 on a player that no one else wants to pay more than $2 for? But yet I don't know that because I can't see what others are offering. Then in the long run, I can't offer what I want for a player I'm high on due to the budget because I spent a lot on a player that no one else wanted.

B. If I really want a player and I'm willing to spend a high number on him, it's not fair that someone else bids more than me, yet I would've bid more than him for that certain player but I don't know that because I can't see what they're bidding.

From experience at actual auctions, you usually end up bidding with someone else for something you want. They offer a certain price, if you want it more, you go higher and so on and so forth. But that can't happen if we can't see what they're bidding now can it?

Going with the regular waiver free agency process like we had in the 2011-12 season is much better than this flawed auction bullshit. And I complained about auction free agency before the season started as well. It fucking sucks.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** -

in the football league I had no money at the end of the season to pickup a TE after mine got injured and we needed to bid a dollar to get one. :lmao

I don't mind auction, but I do agree that other system is better. at least no one tried trading money in this league. :side:

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** -

So the whole point of auction is to overspend on players no one else wants to spend much on or wants and to miss the opportunity to get players you're high on because someone else offered more even though you would've been willing to offer more than them had you known?

Ok. Makes perfect sense. :kobe

And to be clear and sum up my opinion on auction free agency in one sentence: I wouldn't have a problem with auction free agency IF YOU COULD ACTUALLY SEE WHAT OTHERS WERE BIDDING.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** -

It's being pointless. I wouldn't even call it strategic. You basically just make assumptions over what everyone else is willing to pay for a player.

Instead of going a simple route and actually knowing what everyone else is willing to spend.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** -

I'd be ok with a money league if we reset the rosters. Make it fair for everyone new that is joining.

My suggestions for changes:

Daily roster changes
Smaller benches, 3 bench spots and one IR spot
Daily Waiver (I'm for what we have exactly in baseball, but the old system works for me if wanted)

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** -

I've got the lead again! :mark:

It comes down to Sunday. Hopefully I win and make it 2 for 2 on Finals for fantasy basketball this year. It'll be tough though, Magic has more players playing and the Bulls players who likely won't play.

Anyways, good luck Magic.
