Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode

Not sure how I feel about that latest trade as Monroe/Parker are clearly superior to Joe/Monta. I don't even know how Monta is rated as high as he is. I guess all that scoring/3s add up, but Monroe and Parker are beasts.

monta is a beast and so is joe. team desperately needed players that can not only provide all-around numbers but also shoot from outside and that's what they provide. the trade is more than fair.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode

Wouldn't say the trade is unfair but Champ I don't think that was a good trade on your part.

Joe Johnson is declining every year and yeah Monta can give you some scoring, three pointers and a good share of steals but for all of his good games there's the same amount of bad games where he's shooting 4-20, 6-19, 8-25, etc.

Monroe is coming off a season averaging 15/10 and he hasn't even hit his prime yet, he will continue to improve and has a very good chance of becoming an all-star next year. And Parker is by far the best player in this trade.

But if you like it, I guess that's all that matters.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode

Parker is not the best fantasy player in that trade...

Monroe - 41
Parker - 63

Johnson - 35
Ellis - 57

Monroe will probably be around 25 next year though.

He does a lot of the little stuff, assists, gets some boards, shoots ok. He doesn't have a negative stat impact from my memory, and is multiposition eligible.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode

Why wouldn't he be?

Points, 3s, FT%, actually shot a fairly sold >45% which is fairly high for someone who shoots a lot from the perimeter. Higher than Kobe, Ellis, Martin, Thornton, Pierce, etc. He isn't terrible at TOs either like Tyreke, Kobe and Ellis. Decent at rebounds for a guard and chips in at assists.

Anderson/Nash/Gallinari/Ilyasova up for trade, my Negros. Anderson = God, don't know how I've had no offers for him.

Edit:
Are we really waiting the full amount of time for a deal to go through?
