Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** -

I guess the IR spots are fine for a daily league in a keeper league as it would be gay to have to give up your keepers when they get hurt, but in no way should we have 13 roster spots with two IR spots if we're going to continue to do weekly locks. Seriously, I won't even consider playing next year if that's the case as the waiver wire is absolute shit for most of the year and that AIN'T COOL.

also I never gave up, I still made moves and roster changes when I needed to. There was just no one to discuss anything with and I can't just harass JIM all year long when there's nothing to harass him about.

What confuses me though is the last year the league was great. Everyone was active for the most part and no one complained about the set up.

But then this season, all of a sudden weekly lineups were a massive problem for the league.

I mean after going through both I also prefer daily leagues, but it's kind of weird.

I just feel like daily rosters would force people to check their rosters much more often, resulting in more activity. If you compare this thread to the Fantasy Baseball thread, which does have daily rosters, that league is much more active.

But, I digress. I'm fine with going on there once a week. I don't care if we restart, either.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** -

Baseball and basketball can't really be compared that's the thing.

Baseball, rookies make an immediate impact, if you aren't playing you likely aren't up in the majors. NBA rookies are brought in slowly, for the most part. Having daily pretty much makes it impossible to stash players as you will have a huge disadvantage over players that don't stash players. Stashing players is a big part of fantasy basketball and not one I'd really want to eliminate but seeing as I don't even tend to stash rookies I don't much care. The guys that do stash rookies should be the ones that care.

Also, pitchers pitch 1 to 2 days a week, and hitters get 1 or more days off a week generally where they don't start/play in their teams game, this doesn't happen in the NBA. Another reason why baseball needs to be daily.

I just don't get the same enjoyment out of daily leagues for basketball. It takes no strategy to just start the players that are PLAYING and sit the ones who have the day off.

I've said all this before though and it hasn't changed anyones belief so I will digress, I really don't care. There's one that makes more sense for keeper leagues.

Lots of other things have been thrown around, making it a VR league. Whatever else.

My biggest question is how many more times UDFK is going to brag about not drafting his team, like it's something worth bragging about.
