Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode

Sorry that we couldn't predict that the Rockets would acquire James Harden and Lin wouldn't be the #1 option and have teams not geared to stop him.

lolwut. teams are still geared to stop him, just not as the first option, which has also decreased Lin's value as he doesn't shoot as much. it's not like just because the Rockets got Harden that teams have suddenly stopped caring about Lin. Lin always had good value and was going to be a good fantasy player this year regardless of who was on the team because he was going to have the touches/minutes.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode

Did I say they stopped caring about Lin? No I didn't.

But teams obviously aren't gonna be as dedicated to stopping Lin as they are now without Harden. Lin is no longer Houston's only scoring option, he's no longer Houston's #1 option. Atlanta was double-teaming Harden today, they're not throwing double teams at Jeremy Lin. You'd be delusional to think Jeremy Lin doesn't have it easier now that Harden's in town and that teams are gonna have the same gameplan towards Lin with Harden as they would without him.

I never said he doesn't have it easier, as far as scoring goes, but that doesn't mean Lin didn't have good value before and wouldn't be a worthwhile keeper.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode

I personally didn't think Lin was worthy of being a keeper because I thought he would fail in Houston by himself.

Durant and Gortat are bringing in the rebounds for me. 17 and 16 tonight for both of them.

Pretty sure it was Notorious who laughed when I picked Mo Williams, too. ....., you know nothin'.

Dem mid-late round PGs paying off (Collison/Mo/Miller/Jack). Poopin' on CHAMP atm.

I don't remember/care.

But even then, I HIGHLY doubt Mo will average over 18 PPG for the entire season. It's been three games bruh, right now Kevin Durant leads the league in rebounding. The shit won't last the whole season. Pointless to jump to conclusions after three games.
