Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode

Greivis Vasquez was a good pickup for me when Jarrett Jack got injured for like 3 or 4 weeks.

We need to have a league vote, man.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode

It was decided originally by a league vote...

Weekly leagues are for serious fantasy players. They always have been. People that look at match ups of both the players your facing and the teams your players are facing and decide who to start in order to maximize the categories you should win. I get if it's just TOO OVERWHELMING for an amateur such as yourself but I haven't played in a daily basketball league in years.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode

I can see good and bad with both points. With week lock you have to play guys based on strong matchups all week and the amount of games they play. The problem is that there is nothing you can do until Monday morning every week. With daily lock you can play your guys based on the matchup of the day and who plays. The issue is that keeping injured players or prospects on the bench is a terrible idea as you need as many players as possible to keep all those stats.

Personally, I'm fine with week lock. I like to have a grooming bench and I kept a lot of injured players last season, especially at the end. Sure injuries hurt on Monday, and quite frankly, it helped me with my 11 week winning streak, but it happens.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode

You obviously didn't notice the tabs at the top of the page that allow you to go to the next week lol? You don't have to wait till monday.

If this was a yearly redraft league I could understand but this shouldn't even be a debate in a keeper league. Keeper = weekly pretty much always. Baseball should be been as well but GA took it upon himself to change the rules when he remade the league.

I personally prefer doing lineups everyday like baseball...but just having to set your lineup once a week is a nice convenience.

Oh no, I abused those things. I had my lineup set 4 weeks in advanced every week and I checked it every Wednesday, Friday, and Monday morning. I do agree with you though.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode

It really doesn't matter to me. I'm down for either one.

Both have their pros and cons but if I had to vote for one, I guess I'd vote weekly.

Re: General Fantasy Sports Thread

I turned Bargnani and Rubio into Calderon and Jefferson (which could have been Richard Hamilton instead of Calderon) and Flex turned Rubio and Bargnani into Rose. Rose, Rubio, Bargnani, and Hamilton all got hurt.
