Considering Dwight may miss some time to start the season, Pau might end averaging more than 10.4 rebounds this season.

forgot about Howard's back problems. yeah, he should be pretty great for the first month or so.

I actually expect all the Laker starters to be somewhere in the 30 minute range as Brown will probably limit their minutes(we really don't need HCA, well actually we do, but we'll pretend we don't) and save them for the playoffs. we also have capable backups at literally every position(fuck you guys, Ebanks is awesome) which makes the limitation of minutes very possible.

Kobe should go back down to 30-31, Nash will probably be 28-30, Pau will be around 30 once Howard is back, Howard will likely even be limited as Hill proved to a very capable player in the playoffs.

so basically everyone on the Lakers should probably be avoided, except Pau, because Pau is awesome.

Blake & Meeks is a horrible backcourt combination. Both are one-dimensional, one-trick ponies who won't give you anything meaningful outside of three-point shooting. I think they're both decent role players but I just don't feel they're a good combination.

I really still feel like I haven't seen enough of Ebanks to make a proper evaluation of him but from what I've seen him, his play style kind of resembles a young Trevor Ariza.

Jamison & Hill are the two best players coming off the bench. Jamison IMO will be in contention for 6th Man of the Year and Hill was really productive last season when he got minutes so I expect to see more of that from him.

As far as minutes distribution goes, my prediction: Nash gets 28-30, Kobe gets 32-35, Metta gets 25-28, Pau gets 30-32, Dwight gets 32-35.

Meeks is also apparently an alright defender, so at least he has that.

Speaking of the Blazers, I found the story about Aldridge saying he'll request a trade if the Blazers have a losing record by ASG hilarious.

The Blazers have the worst luck of any team in the NBA. It's not even fun to laugh at them anymore.
