Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode
What categories did he make it harder to win besides point scored?

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode
The only ones I think are points scored and 3PM.
Don't see how he hurt himself when it comes FG% & FT% considering he got rid one of the most inefficient players in the NBA in Monta Ellis and Mayo/Sanders have both been efficient from the field this season and I'm sure Amar'e will shoot over 50% when he returns. As far as FT% goes, he added a 95% FT shooter in Jameer Nelson and O.J. is also an efficient FT shooter.
He shouldn't hurt himself too badly in steals. As far as assists goes, he added Jameer Nelson who averages more assists than everyone he traded and O.J. also averages close to 4 a game.

Umm what? You realize Mayo alone gets about as many 3s per game as Kobe and Ellis combined ya? Then Nelson another almost 2 a game.
Brye improves at points, rebounds, steals and FT%. That's about it. Assists, FT% are a wash. He loses TOs, 3s and Blocks.

I don't know if he's actually going to start Jameer. Jameer really isn't that good.
And he lost steals really badly.
Amare didn't even shoot over 50% last year and his role will be even more reduced this year. They'll make him adjust to their new system rather than adjust it to suit him, which will hurt his stats.
And I don't see Mayo keeping up this consistency with his FG%.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode
Mayo's scoring role is probably going to reduce quite a bit when DIRK comes back. Those averages won't last and he won't be getting nearly three 3s a game when Dirk does return.

And Brye lost Blocks, 3s and TOs really badly. So who cares.
What? Yes he will... he's going to shoot as many open 3s as he gets. If anything, when Dirk gets back he'll have even more open 3s...

If Amar'e role is reduced, don't you think that would make him more efficient since he wouldn't have to take as many shots and won't get as much defensive attention as he did last year?
Compared to last season I expect Amare's scoring to take a slight dip but that's it. Everything else will either improve or pretty much be the same. However if I were betting on bet that he'll be more efficient this season than last.
As far as Mayo goes, he'll probably play better once Dirk gets back and he's not the #1 option and doesn't have as much defensive attention.

Re: Fantasy Basketball - **WF Keeper League** - Off-season mode
amare will be the x factor. already know my team can score, it was a matter of improving in other categories and it puts my team in a better position to win it all. make the playoffs, and take it matchup by matchup. i'm aware that jm/aid/mike have powerhouses.
say what you want about kobe. he's no lbj or durant, just scores a ton, and he might end up being a cog in d'antoni's system when nash returns. besides, it's a keeper league, and nobody else really wanted him. my team had to move on.
