Who isn't going to contribute more than a guy not playing? A guy could play 1 minute and get one rebound and that's more of a contribution than someone that's not playing. The only guy that isn't is someone that comes in, misses 6 shots and turns the ball over 3 times and no one anyone will own will do that. You're going to play whoever is on your team that is playing and the guys that aren't will be on your bench. I don't understand how this is strategy it's just common sense.
Joakim Noah goes down on Monday. You pick up Taj Gibson (bid more than my opponent to get him, OMG STRATEGY) on Tuesday and plug him into your lineup. Strategy.
Jordan Crawford comes into the game and shoots 20% from the field, commits 10 turnovers and misses all 10 of his FT attempts. You have to take that into consideration when starting him. To say nobody is going to own a guy that will do that is absolutely ridiculous. Someone is going to pick up MWP at some point, it will happen.
I vote weekly as well so I can mail it in on Sundays and not pay attention to the thread, I have other shit to do. Lets keep this league as restricted as possible. Personally I think we should just auto our rosters and disable free agency. Lets have a vote. Majority rules. I vote for more restriction. 1-0.
