re: WF MLB Keeper League (sup wit da closers?)

MrMr just wants more DL slots so he can comfortably stash Harvey for the season.

lol I knew that's why you were against it. Confirmed.

Totally worth setting fire to a DL slot for Harvey. I will have no regrets.

I probably will regret not bidding $10 on Yordano though.

I didn't realize you had him till I just checked the league page. This is surely the only reason you proposed this DL expansion.

Aid proposed it (Aroldis RIP for two months). I'm for it. It's not like I'm shilling hard for it btw. Two is fine, three is better.

If I punt saves later (spoiler I totally will), perhaps.

re: WF MLB Keeper League (sup wit da closers?)

I was just thinking two was a little small with our small benches and the importance of the bench compared to say our football league here that has 3 IR spots and 6(?) bench spots. Just a proposition of course. If not, MrMr can trade me Harvey instead and let me suffer.

re: WF MLB Keeper League (sup wit da closers?)

Again, I need to stress the difference between keeper and dynasty.

On a dynasty team every player on your team could potentially have value. Because keeping your entire team, all they really need to be is more "rosterable" then players on waiver wire. Or be younger, have more upside etc. You simply will have more guys that you won't want to drop if they are out for the season or an extended period of time.

In keeper, your entire team is not going to have value. Not every player on your team is going to be worthy of being kept in the first 5 rounds.

I don't think we should be catering the league to allow for guys to draft (or pick up) injured players to sit on all year with no sacrifice. If just doesn't make sense to me.

Injuries are bad luck, and everyone is in the same boat there.

That's my stance as 1 league vote. Of course if enough votes want it changed then we can go that route. Unfortunately though MrMr, even if you are willing to input the line ups (and you'll need to do so before 4am EDT lulz), GA was the league creator and therefore the only guy that can assign as league manager. If this is happening it needs to be voted on ASAP.

Football is not an apples to apples comparison because football is VR, not standard keeper. More players could have value and dropping players to waivers increases their value. You have less choice about dropping players or not.
