Well I dont, because if memory serves it was never even mentioned (until after Mania). If it was part of the feud, then we would have saw Umaga vs. Lashley for the ECW title or Shane vs. Lashley or Vince vs. Lashley (which we did see but not until after).

Under the same criteria the WWE Championa and World Heavyweight Championship are world titles?

Donald Trump chose "...my man, the ECW World Champion, Bobby Lashley" it was never going to be a main focus of the feud, it was the battle of the billionaires, not Umaga/Lashley so much as Vince/Trump.

It's a 2nd rate title on 2nd rate show.

So if Heat had a title you would consider it a World title?

uh, because it's on the C show? maybe Mark Henry and Kane are World Champion Material, and i suppose Punk as well...however when was the last time you seen anybody besides a mid-carder hold it besides them? and even those 3 are nothing more than average run of the mill mid-carders in the scheme of things...I think it's more sought after than IC and US championships, but definately not on the same level as WHC and WWE Champ.

I don't think how good the show is really affects the title's status...I don't see why it's a second rate title either? Heat was a division of RAW. If it had a title it'd be more like a 3rd tier RAW title.

Technically speaking, it is a world championship. In reality, it is not on the same level as the WHC or WWE Championship. An ECW Championship match has only main evented a WWE PPV once, if I recall, and WWE just doesn't treat it as being on the same level as the other two.

The WWE could care less about the belt. They don't have it defended on THE BIGGEST SHOW OF THE YEAR, and then they have a 3 second match at the next WM. The belt WILL never ME a tri branded PPV. The ECW belt is doing what the IC belt used to do it just helps propel other talent to legit ME. Also it helps the WWE see if someone can hold the top belt on a show and do a good job with it.

How is it not a 2nd rate title when Chavo entered the rumble with it? Meaning he was trying to win a chance at one of the BIG World titles.

Just because it's top tier on ECW and has the name World means nothing to me. If WWE doesn't treat it like a true World title, then it's not. I view it as a step above the IC/US titles and a step below the World titles.

Hell CM Punk was the first to admit that it wasn't a real World title when he called it "WWE's read headed step child" or something like that.

I consider it to be lower than the U.S. and I.C. titles. WWECW is a disgrace and I will always fail to recognize it than anything more than that. End.
