Okay, first, let's talk about the main event scene on ECW.

Matt Hardy as the top face there I believe could work. I'm guessing they moved him to see whether or not he can be the top guy on a brand. People are saying losing Punk was a big blow, and without a doubt, it was.

But I believe everyone is missing the fact that, Matt is actually more over than Punk is. I guess I'm the only one around here that remembers how the crowd booed Punk to cheer Matt in the two matches they had against each other. So I don't believe that Matt can fill Punk's shoes, because IMO Matt's are bigger.

As far as the midcard, on paper, it looks screwed, but it could be alright. If Evan Bourne, Super Crazy, Finlay, and The Miz are able to step up, the midcard could be alright. I know it won't be as good as SD and RAW, but it will be at least decent.

I guess it was ECW's turn to get a bit of the shaft(Smackdown! last year was worse I would say). This is my favorite WWE brand so it stings a little but it could end up working out for the show. ECW could end up being a strange place by this summer and that doesn't bother me. Should I brace myself for Mark Henry as ECW Champion? I do not want this unless he forms a sick stable or something.

I still don't understand why they didn't move Jeff Hardy to ECW, that would've been so much more interesting than drafting Matt. At least Jeff would've brought over some ratings....

If Burke doesn't get a push now he never will imo. ECW is in rough shape right now. If Miz and Morrison lose the belts they will ultimately fued which would mean there is no one that can fued with Henry. Unless Matt loses the US championship which I highley doubt and I still dont want to see him job to Chavo anyway.

There will probably some more gradual changes to the ECW roster once the Raw/ECW talent exchange begins.

But yeah, I see Matt dropping the US title to Chavo and then winning the ECW title off of Mark Henry at like Summerslam. Jeff went over Umaga, so I don't see why Matt shouldn't be able to go over Mark.

If this means more TV time for guys like Evan Bourne and Elijah Burke, I won't complain. Burke should be turned face, it would increase his position in ECW so much.

im thinking with the thinning of the ECW roster. a big influx of new talent will arrive.. killings harris etc etc

In the supplemental draft, ECW lost 3 quality performers (let's not forget Matt Striker is entertaining at the mic). Won SuperCrazy, who is a skilled performer and may have a more due exposure now. Still...
Still, here's hope that in the following weeks we see more faces coming from other promotions/developmental areas to the show. They need it

Love watching Sydal wrestle, even he was squashed last ECW, but at now I think (maybe not in a few weeks) ECW has been screwed again.
