I like ECW, but maybe Vince cares more about Raw's ratings and Smackdown's move to the new network. Doesn't look like ECW is that important to him.

im hoping in recent weeks the only way i'll keep on watching ecw is if Ron Killings or Chis Harris or someone else i know who will make me watch ECW appear.

I'm seriously thinking of taking ECW off my DVR recording list. They just got raped from their top three faces, and one diva, and then only got Finlay and Hornswaggle in return? Is this punishment for putting on the best "pure" wrestling product the WWE currently airs? God forbid people want to watch ECW more than RAW. This makes no sense. Vince should want all his shows to do big numbers, not just RAW. If you have three seperate wrestling programs with killer ratings instead of just one, don't you make more money? I'm so pissed!

yeah but theres no iduviduality for ECW it just samckdown and soon to be raw. ECW should have got there own big stars unique to them its just sad they've lost there big stars in the draft.

I too am quite disappointed about the choices made more so because there will be less of Kofi VS Benjamin but at the end of the day I'm just going to wait and see how this all pans out for now. I mean if ECW became a WWE breading ground for stars like Kofi and Punk they could probably do it again with other stars like Harris, Bourne, Killings and maybe other independent stars to come.

Benjamin was just used as a jobber anyways.

Hardy takes Punk's role.

Big Show gives them some credibility and a BIG name.

Kane and Punk were getting stale on ECW and their replacements are just fine.

Plus Finlay will actually be utilised on ECW as another strong face. ECW is all about developing no names anyway, so the less genuine star power the better IMO. It's not just about recreating another Raw or SD worthy brand.

They've lost there 2 TOP FACES Kane and CM Punk( who both are main eventers for ECW) and gained Matt Hardy a mid carder. Then they've lost 2 top Heels in Shelton Benjimen and big daddy v and they lost a great talker in matt striker. But no they gained mark henry. Oh yeah but Ecw did get Hornswoggle and super crazy it's just terrible.

I've said it already but ECW have actually got screwed more than BRET HART ever was.

Matt Hardy
Mark Henry
Elijah Burke
Finlay
Morrison
Miz

These guys can mesh well together, its about time people like Elijah burke had a chance to get a big push with Kane and CM punk there it didnt happen so now they have gone this can happen. Remember the show is an hour long and feuds featuring the combination above is still good.

Exactly...if you look at the draft RAW, they were already advertising tickets for RAW/ECW house shows...I'm not worried about this at all. In fact, I haven't been this excited about WWE programming since the Attitude era.

The bookers are being handed awesome talent with which to draw from...I just hope they don't drop the ball.
