Wow! Kane has done nothing but job since 2002? In 2002, Kane won the World Tag Team Title and the next week he won the IC Title. A bad 2002 I guess. Let's not forget how he won a TLC match without a partner. Pretty crappy push indeed.
Let's take a look at 2003. He won the Tag Team Titles with RVD and eventually was unmasked. His path of destruction when he was unmasked was incredible. His feud with Shane was one of the best of the year if not the best. The Last Man Standing Match and Ambulance match were awesome. Pretty crappy year indeed. He even destroyed Austin, set JR on fire, was inside a crashing limo and survived and beat the crap out of a nurse and a doctor in the hospital.
2004 was pretty much a up and down year for him. Not to mention he left to film a movie.
In 2005, he competed in the first ever Money in the Bank match. Eventually he had a fued with Edge that until this day is very underrated. Both guys had 3 pretty good matches against each other. I believe Kane then took some time off and then came back which lead to Kane winning the World Tag Team Titles. Big Show and him were pushed as an unbeatable tag team and they even defended the belts on a constant basis. They were one of the most legit Tag Champs WWE had in a while.
In 2006 that's when things really slowed down for him. The only thing worth mentioning was his sucessfull tag title defense at Wrestlemania. He then took time off yet again to promote See No Evil in Europe and after he returned for a match with Big Show under Extreme Rules on ECW and then went into a feud with Umaga which he ended up on Smackdown. After that Kane started putting guys like MVP, Kennedy, Mark Henry and the new character Big Daddy V over. What's wrong with that?
Hardly Hall of Fame material, is it? Winning the IC and Tag belts doesn't make you a contender for the HOF, should Carlito be inducted? No but he's won mid card belts and had decent feuds. You have to do something great to make the HOF. If Kane entered WWE in 2003, we'd all say he's had an okay career so far but when you look at how hard he was pushed in the 90s and how awesome he looked, 03-08 has been pretty weak. And overall, it's just not HOF material. Seriously, you seem to think that winning a few mid card belts and having some good feuds means you deserve to be classified as one of the elite. If so then I give up. Kane has done nothing that someone else hasn't done before way better. He's just not that great. Sorry.

Kane is the definition of stale and I'm pretty sure the only reason people like him is because he's the one of the closest things that make people reminisce about the Attitude era.

Pete Rose and William Perry were indicted into the Hall of Fame. That is all.
To me Kane has been stale since he's turned face for good. The guy as explained earlier in this thread was a monster. To me he was most fresh either when he debuted as Kane in 1997 he really seemed unstoppable at first, or when he was unmasked in 2003, he was ruthless then. Now he's just nothing like he used to be. Like if they bring in a new heel monster and Kane goes against him...you don't expect Kane to have a chance, when years ago I would have given Kane a chance against anyone in the company.
Kane being face is like Colin Delaney being heel. Heh, I mean, it doesn't add up. When he debuted he didn't give a damn about anything or anyone, he posed a threat to the Undertaker, which was rare in those days. He was an incredible heel, masked or unmasked. But now, he's show compassion, he married Lita, he cried about her, he even got his ass kicked by John Morrison! He just needs to turn heel, and then it's gonna be better watching him.
He's not gonna get better in the ring, but he's gonna most certainly be more interesting to watch.
