I'm starting to think they do indeed have something planned for Punk. I think they will push whatever it may be this coming ECW for ONS. Until Punk loses to some low card guy and loses his case I won't give up hope that he will indeed get pushed.

But he needs to gain credibility by getting some high profile wins.

If there is a draft coming soon, I think they'll start giving Punk the huge push then. It seems to me like they're almost biding their time until he changes brands for some more credible opponents.

WWE's booking for building guys into the main event can be pretty awful, though. I mean for God's sake Jericho doesn't even have a PPV win yet since his return.

They make him look weak, that's a problem. He's not seen as a main event at all. He sometimes wins the midcards, sometimes loses to midcards (more than wins), and as his character is built now, you can't even imagine him to win any world title in any way.

The way things are going he just doesn't have enough momentum to cash in any time soon, so I have to agree with the idea he'll drop the briefcase to Hardy, possibly after a draft to RAW. I'd love to see Punk go heel, like the good ol' ROH days.

I think the WWE are trying to make an Edge effect with him. Take away all the attention from the money in the bank and use it when most people are not expecting it. Which is why I think they will make it a big heel turn when he wins a title.

Hmm never thought about that really. However at the same time I agree with Mavs he needs some high profile wins. Agianst guys like Edge and such maybe a win over one of the major champs to show that he can beat them.

Why turn CM Punk Heel? Would he be better as a heel? yes he would be better as a heel. But the WWE should give him a massive push as a face (by giving him some high profile wins) and make him win either the WWE Championship or the World Championship, just so that the WWE can tell it's critics and bashers that "you don't have to take drugs to be World Champion in WWE." It would do the WWE a lot of good if they made CM Punk into one of the top faces in the company and put him out there as the perfect example of someone who got to the top by working hard and not taking drugs.

CM Jobber, thats pretty good. I prefer CM Move-Stealer myself though.
