Take it this way, Punk in only 2 years has given Morrison, The Miz, Matt Striker, Marcus Cor Von, William Regal, and Chavo Guerrero their biggest wins in their WWE careers. That's a guy willing to do jobs as a top guy for others who are not previously perceived on his level.

Clearly, fans are short-minded creatures who anytime Punk loses to someone, it's NUCLEAR HEATZORS!!! and DOGHOUSE 4 LIFE!!! You look at Punk and he's the only new face that didn't need to establish himself as a heel initially for him to get over since the WWE had it's name change. Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista, Muhammad Hassan, Carlito, Mr. Kennedy, MVP all were established and got a fanbase as heels. Punk is the only one that hasn't and he's in for the longhaul. Even if this push fails, how can he not be over as a mega-heel 3 years down the road, ala Edge?

There are plans for him to turn heel along with Cena, or so i heard somewhere. This I wouldn't mind, as his whole gimmick works much better for him as a heel. When he does jump to Raw, I would love to see him bash on Hardy for the suspension, because that would put him over as a heel, due to Hardy's fanbase.

He really isn't ready to win a World title. He needs a feud where he shows his character isn't one dimensional and give the fans a real reason to like/hate him. Right now he gets his ass kicked and doesn't even get mad or do anything about it. Didn't he get pummelled by Chuck a few weeks ago? Then he just forgot about it and didn't bother to address it.

Perhaps they'll be using the bad booking as an excuse for Punk to get frustrated enough to cash in his MitB prematurely as a way of proving that it wasn't a fluke with him winning it in the first place?
The Judgment Day match will be interesting nonetheless as we have no idea if WWE will have Punk take advantage of the situation.

I think WWE Creative don't have a clue what to do with Punk because, let's face it, he wasn't originally intended to win MITB, Jeff Hardy was. I think they should have let MVP win it, then do an Edge-style run-in after an Undertaker world title match and cash it in some time in about 6 months. That would have given him Edge-level heat. Who knows, maybe CM Punk will do something similar.

Just because he won MITB doesn't mean they have to give him the belt by June. Relax its not the end of the world. He still has like 10 months to cash the damn thing in. They can build him back up in no time. All he needs is a legit fued with a top guy to be a legit Championship contender.

Seriously, after last night I actually looked forward to this post when I woke up, cuz I KNEW that there was gonna be atleast one.

So I will tell you the same exact thing I tell every other little jack off CM Punk fan boy that wants to suck his dick.

Punk is FAR from being burried, he is far from jobbing out. Wow, CM Punk actually lost a match,so what? He wasn't gonna stay undefeated his whole career.

CM Punk is ECW's top face and just all around top superstar...he's the face of ECW. He is this years money in the bank, he made it to the final round of King of the Ring, he wins 99% of his matches, he was ECW champ for 5 or 6 months. CM Punk is far from burried or a jobber.

CM Punk isn't going to win every single match he is in....it's just not going to happen, but because of that of course we get these fucking morons that bitch and complain that Punk is being burried every time he loses a match.

I hope to god Punk wins the title when he cashes in money in the bank and the ONLY and I do mean ONLY reason why I want him to win because if Punk loses a WWE or World title match. Ny god are we going to get hit hard with threads from these little dumbass fan boys bitching about how Punk has officially been turned into a jobber or something.

Bottom line is this, Punk is going to lose every once in a while. Get used to it.

Punk isn't a jobber, but he is clearly not one of the main event faces yet, and rightfully so. Guys like Jericho do the job on occasion so I see Punk being more like him than HHH or Cena.

Punk IS on SD this week for whats its worth. I won't post any spoilers though.

Sometimes wrestlers lose matches, especially when they aren't anything more than a borderline upper-midcard wrestler, but its not really a big deal, it does not mean they're now a jobber or the like. Just a thought, but maybe this loss was to further his current feud with Miz/Morrison for their JD match? What a crazy uneducated bunch in that creative team. Blimey.
