Re: ECW Discussion Thread 5/13/08: Sign on the Extreme line
Seeing as Miz/Morrison walked away and Kane/Punk were laid out, I'm pretty sure there'll be new WWE tag team Champions on Sunday. That's usually how it works. Defending champion gets the last word in before a PPV and then he loses his title.
Re: ECW Discussion Thread 5/13/08: Sign on the Extreme line
Since Miz and Morrison won tonight there might be a chance of Kane and Punk winning it sunday. I hope not I actually like the team of Miz and Morrison.

Take it this way, Punk in only 2 years has given Morrison, The Miz, Matt Striker, Marcus Cor Von, William Regal, and Chavo Guerrero their biggest wins in their WWE careers. That's a guy willing to do jobs as a top guy for others who are not previously perceived on his level.

tbh I really didn't enjoy ECW tonight. I liked the brief segment with Kofi/Benjamin, would of liked to seen Kofi in action though but more build up for their match next week is fine with me. Really wasn't much to get me pumped for tonight. I give ECW about an 6.8/10

Well they did a good job of catching me off guard and I have no idea what's going to happen in the Tag Championship match at JD.

True, maybe thats them testing him or something. To see how he reacts to "doing the job" while being in position as a top guy. So at least no one can bitch about Punk and says he doesn't lose and all of that.

A meh ECW to be honest. Knox' Snitsky-esque push goes on in the same way after a long dormancy. Hated the divas match before it began. Kofi and Shelton are the real top guys there right now and they had a mere backstage segment. Punk and Morrison looked good in winning their matches and at the end overall. But I doubt they'll be Smackdown Tag champions on ECW for a lot longer. Colin Delaney is becoming what I expeced before he ever legitimately signed a WWE contract. He's become an overhyped whipping boy. The only ECW original present thoughout the show was Tazz and he was trying to egg on Adamle errors a little more than usual. I wonder if 10 years ago you could get Tazz to believe a decade later with another "Z" on his name he'd be broadcasting one of Vince McMahon's shows trying to get his broadcast colleague, a former American Gladiators host, to say dumb things. Estrada gets another match in for what it's worth. That has Vince's prints all over it. Vince probably never knew Hazem Ali was so buff. In all a 5/10 rating from me.
Re: ECW Discussion Thread 5/13/08: Sign on the Extreme line
Punk loss isn't that bad considering Kane lost as well. Somehow I see Miz/Morrison retaining and Punk getting pissed at Kane for not winning. This will lead to Punk turning heel over time.
