I know it's all one big gag with the "praise" for Mike Adamle and the "outstanding performance" he had on ECW. But really, this is why so many "Why is the WWE doing so bad?" topics come up.
Much as Christy Hemme (Wrestlemania 21) and other diva search contestants are doing poorly as they are in the ring, Vince tells them they did okay and is fine with it. The same can be said for Vince's reaction to the very audible amount of boo's John Cena receives along with the anti-Cena signs they confiscate for him. It shouldn't have to also be brought up that Cena is the WWE's intended modern version of Hulk Hogan. Vince is also okay with poor announcing. He's given Coachman quite a few months at the job he has and despite the results, he doesn't seem to care. Just as Vince doesn't care that, unlike Coachman, he's throwing someone in there to call matches who is almost completely unfamiliar with the WWE roster. I wonder if RAW's lowest rating in the last 11 years even phases him. Make all the excuses for NCAA, overseas taping, etc. They scored huge on taped broadcasts before (Skydome telecast on a weekend, Foley's Title win), and as well as their old competitor, WCW Monday Nitro, humbled the NFL on a number of occasions.
WWE is spiraling down and you've got very recent evidence to go along with it.
