hey guys, i was thinking.. seeing as stevie is gettin some crowd response. and is still wrestling quality, what do you think about giving stevie the ECW title. i mean it would make the original fans a bit happier. and he is at least a lil bit over with the crowd. and it would also give the chance for CM punk to turn heel on stevie. as we all know CM makes a great heel

thoughts?

I don't think a title run would be good for Stevie yet but the WWE should do something interesting with him and maybe do something like a 'takeover' of ECW storyline. Maybe try to invent a new BWO, or just a new faction with him in it. I could see that role working very well for Stevie.

You are right about the BWO, stevie could have a faction and spray paint the ecw title like how hogan did the wcw title .

All I know is Stevie got a much deserved pop last night, and a chant. Good for him. I've been a fan of Stevie since the original ECW, I hope they give him a good run now.

I kinda liked Stevie last night on ECW and hope he bursts into a top contender. He kinda got a shawn michaels look but a little smaller. I saw a good spark in him and hope stevie get wat he deserves.

I personally don't think a faction is what Stevie needs right now. It seems like playing the sympathy card with that surgery promo worked; Stevie got a solid reaction. I think that if Punk was to leave to another brand, Stevie would be a good person to take over as the top face. I'm interested in seeing how far this push goes. I think Stevie deserves a shot at the top, especially since ECW is an experimental brand to an extent. I think he'd definitely make it work.

As much as i'd love to see Stevie Richards with the ECW Championship, it just wont happen.

But if it ever did, that would bring me back to the good ole ECW days.

Well the faction idea wouldn't have to be permanent. It would help elevate Stevie's face (or heel) status in the WWE. In fact it could set up a great faction rivalry and it could quietly elevate him to the main event. Since the ECW roster is so small, they could have a few contenders in the title scene and just below that you have the tag champs and then you could create two factions out of the rest. Having Smackdown involved could make the storylines endless. You could have Stevie with two or three other team mates and versus a faction of let's say Shelton, Burke, and Dykstra/Victoria. It would be sick to see a feud like this lead to a ladder match or something.

I would even go as far as saying put Stevie in a "take over" storyline to make him the GM of ECW. That way Armando could make a suprise return to RAW and continue to manage Umaga.

This is what I'd like to see with Stevie anyways. I hope the WWE has some good plans for him in the near future.

Yes definetly, a title run for Stevie would be a great move for the WWE. I believe it would make ECW more interesting and it would be great for Stevie personally.

I could see Stevie getting a well deserved title run on ECW. He's been doing this for awhile now and has really been getting any credit the past few years.
