Re: Paul Heyman speaks out
So was Stephanie/Heyman hating eachother guts another falsely reported rumor? From reading that it kind of sounds like it. Instead of Steph and Heyman butting heads all of the times, it seems it was Vince and Heyman butting heads.

Something I read online turned out to be false? The hell!
Anyway, good read. I would have liked to seen Paul's vision for DTD, sounded pretty cool. Ah well.

Re: Paul Heyman speaks out
Good read, rep added. I agree with Heyman, Vince shouldn't have brought back ECW, and when he did he should have gave full control of it to Paul Heyman, but all Vince wants his Money, so w/e

Re: Paul Heyman speaks out
I'm sure that Stephanie and Paul might have had very different visions for what ECW should have been, but I don't necessarily think they "hated" each other.
Obviously, when ONS 05 happened it was a great success and was atleast somewhat reminiscient of ECW's product. By the time ONS 06 rolled around, it really was just a platform for the Cena/RVD title change but still a pretty strong event nonetheless.
I have to believe that ECW coming back full time was Vince's idea and Paul was probably against it. Either that, or Paul was actually lead to believe that the new ECW would be booked similar to the old ECW, but I doubt it.
With such a strong mind for booking, I can't see Paul not coming back at sometime in the near future. I know they say he's working on hollywood projects or whatever, but everyone knows this buisness runs in your blood and deep down inside Paul still has a burning desire for pro wrestling.
Whether it be back with the WWE, or with TNA (please) or a new promotion, I don't think we've seen the last of him in the wrestling buisness.

Re: Paul Heyman speaks out
It would have been great to see the elimination chamber go down in Heyman's vision...maybe it would have saved the worst ppv of all time.

Re: Paul Heyman speaks out
That was a very good read thanks for posting. First off I wish Heyman was still around and had full control of the brand. Because by just reading that and knowing how he is ECW would be awesome right now. Punk would prob be a huge star because Heyman would have used him to his full potenital. Yeah Punk is a star right now, but not to the level of a raw star, or a full blown Smackdown main eventer like Edge or such. And I think RVD would have been a premenant main eventer who would have been John Cena level star. Funny how Vince wanted to make Lashley look like superman, and now Lashley is gone.
Secondly by reading that also it seems like Stephanie isn't as bad as these net reports make her out to be. It's just all Vince being an ass. Whether Vince wants to realize it or not Heyman is a very very vauleable asset to have, and he shouldn't have screwed it up. The guy can make stars, and get the most out of everybody, and the situation he is put in.

Re: Paul Heyman speaks out
I hate it when someone becomes so big doing things their way...their ego eventually prevents them from growing and exploring any longer. Even though hes on top of the world, i truly believe his stubborness will be the death of vince mcmahon. And by death i mean, his legacy and character, not the real deal....
As for heyman, im glad he decided to just stay away, despite what many may say, the man was truly a wrestling genius....
