Thanks to Heyman, there's no ECW to sell back. The old ECW is a box a tapes that make more money now than it ever did in its heyday.

Paul Heyman is the man, He's the true genious in wrestling because unliked all the other wrestling promoters he wants to give fans what they want and not have to worry about how much he's makingh or losing!

Yeah, the wrestlers working for him got paid shit (if they were even getting paid) and worked second or third jobs for the promotion (for free) when they weren't tearing their bodies to pieces in an attempt to stand out, but at least you and Sign Guy got to go home happy after seeing Terry Funk and Sabu needing to be cut out of barbed wire. And in the end, what's more important, making money so your employees can put food on their table, or you having a story to tell when you're talking about how sucky today's product is?

Great post and great interview.
Its really shame that Vince wanted Extreme Elimination Chamber to be crappy. I really liked Heyman's vision of it. Punk chokeing Big Show out and stuff. I don't see any problem woth that, if even Big Show liked it. If Vince wouldn't treat Heyman like a shit, there would be some huge stars in ECW and great storylines and stuff. Booking would be better in every possible way.

If heyman was still around then ECW wouldnt be so damn boring and kind of disappointing. Instead, it has of all people estrada as their "GM". I feel sorry for the true ECW fans who have been let down, because even though it lives on, I dont think it turned out to be what everyone thought it would be. I can only hope that heyman comes back someday, maybe when vince realizes that ECW is going to shit, or maybe when WWE isnt getting the ratings it wants, then. But as long as vince has his head in his ass, its not happening.

I've read it before. It's a bunch of bull crap talking about how Vince has always done the wrong thing and freaks out about every single little thing where as Paul Heyman is sulking at home wishing he COULD have been what McMahon was back in the late 90's. It's a bunch of hypocritical bullcrap/propaganda. I've never liked Paul E.
