you said the only difference between cartoons and comics is that the characters are used better in the show than comics
can you claim the you prefer the cartoon more than you do comics? absolutely, your opinion. can you say certain characters that were given a fresh interpretation that breathed new life in them? yes, that happened several time. Some were even created from nothing and proved so successful they were brought into comics
but the statement you made is a complete insult into the medium. the series would not even exist if not for the comic creators who poured their brilliance ushered them and created so many of the stories that you enjoyed. Its an absurd marginalization of the creativity and effort that goes into building these characters
Seriously? That is the only difference? Its disrespect to the creators and the medium. The justice League cartoon wouldnt even not have been possible without Grant Morrison bringing the Justice League concept back to life in his huge mid 90s run. And thats just the most recent example. Hell, most Batman episodes were based on Neal Adam's legendary run along with Denny O Neil in the 70s
Nobody loves the animated series more than I do, I grew up, and to this day, watch many of them. Especially Batman The Animated Series, but I would never take credit from those who paved the way for it to happen
I never said the comics weren't important. I said some characters were used better in the series than in the comics, that can't be argued. Did I say all? No. I said some. You're taking this more series, than it actually is. When I say the only difference, I say that they're both great mediums for superheros, the only difference is the execution.
