Re: DC universe cartoons thoughts

I loved all the DC cartoons growing up

My childhood consisted specifically of DBZ and Batman and justice league the animated series

Love those two and had so many toys, vhs, etc

I love the new batman adventures specifically as I loved the tim drake and nightwing

Justice league is also a favorite of mine and im currently rewatching all the episodes on netlfix. The original JL is a little better than unlimited imo but there but great.

^ agreed Man i just watched the justice league both seasons and It actually made me sad that hawkgirl left and all that.

For a cartoon character If she was in real life she would look damn good plus she was cool and legit. I was shocked to see all that in starcrossed defentaily a must see episode

Re: DC universe cartoons thoughts

Hawkgirl proved in JL/JLU with the right marketing she could be an A-List Character. She was more interesting than Wonder Woman in both series.

Re: DC universe cartoons thoughts

Batman TAS, Superman TAS and both Justice Leagues were fantastic. I can't bring myself to watch the others, though. Either because they changed the actors that I liked and was familiar with or because they made some stupid shift in how they animated the charaters, like the Teen Titans one or that one where they made Joker look like a complete fool. Just can't do it.

121 SUPERBOWL TV SPOTS! Civil War, Batman V Superman, X-Men!

You can blame bloody football for the delay of this weeks podcast as we wanted to get in all the TV Spots for the 2016 Superbowl! We're talking Captain America: Civil War, Batman V Superman, X-Men Apocalypse, Ninja Turtles, Independence Day Resurgence, The Jungle Book and others probably!

We also touch on news concerning Rogue One, Zack Synder defending his version of Superman, Deadpool's rave reviews and more!

Shayera would look like Eva Mendes in real life. Will say for the most part she was a forgettable character in JLU

@TyrionLannister: Teen Titans isn't apart of the DC Animated Universe, along with Brave & The Bold, Green Lantern, Young Justice, etc.

I own both Batman and Superman TAS. Justice League was just as awesome as was Batman Beyond.

Check out the pilot for my webshow WISHFUL THINKING. It is a show about a college student who fucks up his day and a Genie grants him the opportunity to do it all over again and he finds new and creative ways to fuck it up even more.

Watch Episode 2 of WISHFUL THINKING
The Test: Rob gets caught cheating on a test and has a chance to go back and do it again

Watch Episode 3 of WISHFUL THINKING.
The Date: Rob tries not to fuck up a hot date and does it anyways.

Watch Episode 4 of WISHFUL THINKING.
The Poker Game: Rob tries to win some money at Poker and is terrible at it.

Re: DC universe cartoons thoughts

Aquaman in the DCAU was legendary. Great anti-hero. It's a shame he never had any big role in JLU.

Re: DC universe cartoons thoughts

Aquaman in the DCAU is why I will always stick up for Aquaman when people make jokes about him.

Also I was a big fan of JLU since it was kind of what I always wanted, ALL the heroes hanging out together and fighting crime. It's why I like some of the later straight to DVD movies where Batman and Superman are a bickering couple.

Re: DC universe cartoons thoughts

I only ever watched Batman: The Animated Series when I was a kid. I can't remember any of the other ones, I'm sure i saw the odd episode but I was always a Marvel fanboy when I was a kid so I just watched Spider-Man.

But I watched the shit out of Batman. I keep seeing boxsets online and I might just have to pick up the first season. Lots of great memories.

I'm downloading all of Justice League/JLUnlimited at the moment, as I'm on a bit of a DC character kick after watching Arrow. Has there ever been a good Green Lantern show?
