Agreed, Memento is a fantastic film. Both appreciated by those who knew, and criminally under-appreciated by those who don't.

Not seen The Machinist. I, too, was put off by Bale's physique which is a bit sad of my part. May watch it tonight.

Memento is the only Nolan I don't like.

Driving 80 miles in a couple weeks just to see the Only God Forgives screening. Better be worth it.

Starship Troopers needed a naked lesbian scene with Denise Richards & Dina Mayer. And maybe Neil Patrick Harris as a voyeur.

While Total Recall needed more Johnny Cab scenes.

Hmm, seems I'm a page behind.

You're not incorrect, haribo.

Such truths deserve to appear pages behind or ahead.

Kurt motherfucking Russell!

Oh and I'm going to get shit for this but Total Recall is the most overrated movie ever. It's awful. Starship Troopers though, that shit rules.

Hey i'm the guy on here that dislikes Drive, that's almost sacrilegious in these here parts. lol

i wouldn't call TR a great movie by any stretch, but it was one of the more entertaining and well made Arnie vehicles amidst a string of awful cash-in movies. It also helps when you're familiar with Verhoeven's knack for subtle cultural satire throughout his accessible films. Robocop was better for that, but this wasn't far behind. It's too bad that they had a chance to make a darker, more serious interpretation of the book with the 2012 movie and failed. That pisses me off a lot more than turning We can remember it for you Wholesale into a visually impressive Summer Blockbuster flick that kept the core elements of the book intact.

But really, I was thinking Bale would either come back to his home and kill Stevie or kill the armless man. I was mindfucked to oblivion when that didn't happen.

Eating while watching that was such a foolish mistake on my part.
Was eating lunch with my roommate when I watched that movie and immediately lost my appetite. Thought it was a great movie though.
