I didn't care for Safety Not Guaranteed. Aubrey Plaza and Jake Johnson were good but I felt like there are two separate movies held together by a thin plotline. I also didn't care for how blindly Darius follows Kenneth despite proof that he is legit insane and lied to her the whole time!

Re: General Movie Discussion Part III
Saw Star Trek at midnight on Wednesday. Still struggling with what the hell my opinion is on it, my inner fanboy was both pleased and annoyed as fuck, my inner movie going self thought it was.... alright, I guess, Cumberbath and Quinto are sensational, Pegg makes the most of what he has, Chris Pine has all the charisma of a Pine tree and the rest of the cast are completely inconsequential.
APART FROM PETER FUCKING WELLER. FUCKING ROBOCOP WAS IN THE MOVIE
Spoilery time since it's not out for you strange Americanos yet
Spoiler for what the fuck do you think?:
I loved Khan, thought that with the little (far too little) he was given he stole the show, I mean he didn't have the charm of Ricardo Montoblan's Khan, who to me felt like a real life dictator, charming, charismatic, terrifying and batshit insane but Cumberbatch makes the absolute most of his scenes.
The final is pretty great, I have faults with Kirk being brought back to life in that way, I know Kirk's your centerpiece but if you're gonna bloody recreate Spock's death with the roles reversed then you should go the full hog.
Loved the wee references dotted throughout (TRIBBLES, 5 YEAR MISSION, KHAAAAAAAAAN).
Nimoy was pointless but cool to see
If I were to guess I'd say its a 7/10, I honestly can't decide though.
