VIKINGS

Are you watching this? If not you should be. I had my reservations since it was a History Channel show. I first thought it might be a documentary like they usually do but this is an actual TV show. And I just watched the pilot episode and it's fucking phenomenal. This show has a lot of potential. I talked Mr into watching it...which admittedly didn't take much talking into and this is phenomenal. It really is. I thought acting would be second rate but it's actually top notch. So is the writing. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Who might like this... you might ask me. Any GoT fan will LOVE this. Trust me. I wouldn't lie to you. This is actually phenomenal.

WATCH IT!

Re: VIKINGS

yeah I've heard great things about this show, mostly from my friends that watch GoT. I'll likely give it a try because VIKINGS are badass.

Who are you, child?

No one.

Re: VIKINGS

The pilot really is quality stuff. Established all kinds of conflict. Well acted. Sets look great. Costumes look great. Did everything a pilot needs to do and that gets me to watch more.

And yeah VIKINGS.

Re: VIKINGS

Saw a trailer for it again before GI Joe started. If its on demand I'll check it out for sure. If it'll remind of Dark Souls or Skyrim even alittle then I'll be hooked. Wish I had dvr now though since its on Sunday at 10 and my Sundays will get crowded.

Re: VIKINGS

You should definitely give it a shot. Seen the pilot and episode 2 and ep2 was better than the pilot so that's always good. You got some cliched things here in the story, but it's ok. The cinematography really shines in ep2. At the very least, Vikings has really good production value.

Re: VIKINGS

I'm watching it now, halfway done with the first episode. There's 4 on demand so plan on watching them all tonight.

Spoiler for :
Ragnar is cool, his wife is and the fucking Earl and his balding short guy are awesome villains lol. How he "offered" his wife to the guy then had him killed was crazy. Oh and only on episode 2 now and I can already see he will have issues with his brother

Re: VIKINGS

Watched episode 2 today and it was better than the premier and that's a great thing. I'm really loving this show right now. The potential it has is only limited by what the History channel will allow and from the first to episodes it's very liberal to violence and sex and that's great. I'm totally marking out for the show right now. I'm pleasantly surprised.
