Ugh, what a lousy month for this question. Probably not going to see a movie all month.

I really dislike Toby McGuire for some reason and never cared for Kirsten Dunst, but the movies were well made. What do people expect? It's a franchise primarily aimed at kids. Did a part of me want Sam to channel the Maximum Carnage type of grittiness and maturity? Hell yeah, but i'm not the target audience.

3rd one was pretty bad i'll admit. Topher Grace would've been MUCH better suited as Peter Parker than Eddie Brock. They could've gotten Brock Lesnar and it would've been a far better choice. lol

Really?

I thought Magiure was pretty on point with Parker. Better then Garfield, but I feel Garfield plays a better Spidey.

Re: Most anticipated movie this month?

Garfield to me was fine, but the movie was not as good as the original (at least the first two movies). At least with Garfield, I didn't feel the urge to slap the smug look off his face like I did with Maguire. I think the last Spidey movie fell victim of mediocre writing, that and the fact that people already had a preconceived notion that a reboot was far too soon, and they were right.

I don't see "Inappropriate Comedy" on your list Op. We know that's gonna be great, no chance it will be the worst movie of all time.

Re: Most anticipated movie this month?

I believe that Spider-man and Spider-man 2 are the greatest super hero movies ever made.

This moment when the Green Goblin made Spider-man to chose between Mary Jane and the kids on the bus is the iconic moment of the whole genre if you ask me, Parker does HIS choise and even with that is able to save both of them. Wich is mostly the deffinition of the superhero

Darkman is also amazing. Raimi is another filmmaker i will say is underrated
