Arya didnt even get to see her mother and brother for the last time.
Oh but she did, in S01E01 that is, lol.
Wow, the amount of "I'll stop watching" pussy comments all over the internet. When a tv show bums me out like this, that's a positive thing imo, means the character development is great when you love/hate them that much to be sad/happy when something happens to them. If you care, they're doing it right.
I love the fact that this show mimics real life situations and our history somewhat. As a non-book reader, it came to me as no surpirise that Robb is dead. It's war time. Even tho' your a "good guy" driven by revenge for your father, if your young green and blinded by love u gonn' get got! Bolton's heel turn was expceted too. Was surprised however Talisa got knifed, thought she's was a Lannister spy.
The most chilling moment for me was pure atmoshpere, not gore. That moment when they close the door and you know shit's about to happen, then Lannister song starts playing. Dayuumn. Second one was Catlyin begging for her sons release, even tho' you know there's no turning back at this point. That one last unrealistic string of hope only a mother would try to pull.. just anything to save her son's life.
Great episode, like most I too was expecting it go full hour.
edit: To all the "I'll stop watching" guys, think about this: Let's say Talisa was carrying a boy - THEY KILLED EDDARD STARK AGAIN, and he wasn't even born this time!
