Joffery complaining about having to walk up all the steps in the Tower of the Hand and Tywin responding with "we can arrange to have you carried" was great.

The kid torturing Theon is one of the most sadistic characters I have ever seen on television. He's brilliant.

That entire scene with Theon was probably the most -worthy scene of the show so far. The entire thing made absolutely no sense. Theon didn't even try to escape. I really wouldn't mind if he was killed off.

Also really didn't like the massive shift in Daenerys' character. Where the hell did that come from?

The funny thing about the Joffrey scene is, he's actually right to be worried about dragons and his granddad is foolish to dismiss them.

what shift is this? she wanted to free all the slaves while still being a badass FUTURE QUEEN which fits completely with her character. she is building an army as well as supporters.

btw i felt this was the weakest episode of the season. besides the Daeny scenes along w/ the Lannister scenes it was a pretty boring episode. i'm hoping it was a tablesetter though.

Uhhh.....what? He DID try to escape and was promptly smacked in the fucking face by a metal cup.

Also, there was no shift in Dany's character whatsoever. She hates slavery and wants all the slaves in Yunkai freed. That's COMPLETELY consistent with her character.

Episode 99 - Superhero Showdown Returns!

The much requested Superhero Showdown episode makes a return where we pit your favourite comic/movie/tv characters against each other to determine who's slighty better! Also we get into news of the new Civil War line-up, Star Wars The Force Awakens, Assassins Creed and undoubtably something else to do with whatever this podcast is about. Thanks for listening!

He'd been untied for a good five minutes by that point.

It's the only time in the series I felt like Daenerys came across as the bad guy. Previously she's come across as strong and well intentioned, in this scene she came across more like a ruthless, sadistic Joffrey type.

Spoiler for a spoiler:
Wait until you see the rest of her actions at Slaver's Bay. I facepalmed throughout the whole thing. It's not even about her being ruthless and sadistic, it's about her idiotic plans.

EDIT: That wasn't really a spoiler, I didn't really tell anything about what she might or might not do. It was just a very vague opinion, but anyway, it's better to use the spoiler tags to avoid possible problems.

We Do Not Sow

"So many vows...they make you swear and swear. Defend the king. Obey the king. Keep his secrets. Do his bidding. Your life for his. But obey your father. Love your sister. Protect the innocent. Defend the weak. Respect the gods. Obey the laws. It's too much. No matter what you do, you're forsaking one vow or the other.

"Do you even know what honor is?" Brynden "The Blackfish" Tully
A horse. Jaime Lannister to himself
