Okay... both are in ruins. Harrenhal makes more sense.

Ser Teryn Mant

It was a decent start, but I wish they had something with a bit more impact for the premiere. Wasn't happy with how they started off the episode but it got better after that. Tywin/Tyrion was the best part of the episode. Shae being connected with Sansa still doesn't make sense to me. Next week should be better if they show what Arya is upto.

I'm just glad it's back. Solid return and will only get better if the stuff I've been told about from the books comes true on the show.

Tywin/Tyrion confrontation was the best part of the show.

How many gunshot wounds does it take to buy a near-fall?

Keep in mind that the 3'rd book is occupying 2 seasons due to its enormous length. There's a few amazing parts I don't expect to see this season, one of them I KNOW isn't happening this season because the required role hasn't been cast. The big one is this season, though.

New this week: Episode 72 - Everything Aquaman!

Big DC news this week with revelations concerning The Joker, Wonder Woman and Aquaman! Plus we talk Indiana Jones, Lucifer, X-Men and more. Thanks for listening!

Why not? He'll be there. He's even on the main cast list for season 3 on the Game of Thrones wikia.

I missed that the guy alive in Harrenhall was Qyburn on my first watch. Interesting way to introduce him to the show.

Very average episode. Barristan's return was boss tho.

Thought it was flat. But, I also must keep in mind how difficult it likely is to do a first episode of each season. You've got to set all the pieces up for the audience. Its probably the single most difficult episode, the first one, of each season.

Whoever thought Barristan stabbing a CGI scorpion is a better "intro" than him beating the shit out of people with a staff should be fired.
