Re: Game of Thrones: Season 3. TV Series Discussion. NO BOOK SPOILERS...NONE
Theon has grown on me so much thanks to his plight. Such a conflicted character when you think about it. Was on the fence with his alignment to the Starks for so long, returns home & goes asshole on the Starks, then ends up getting duped and is now the most sympathetic character in the whole of the show. Which does say a lot considering all of the tragic means that have plagued numerous characters.
If we get Theon to live (despite castration lingering about) and Ramsay to die next season, well, I consider that a mega victory for us fans. I hate Ramsay so much. That's why he's a fantastic villain.
I still can't believe the 180 seen by Jamie in season three. Talk about sympathy helping him along. Used to be 100% unlikable, now he feels like a completely different character. To more shock and awe Cersei showed humanity in the season finale herself. Very interesting to see where the story goes come Season Four. If I really want to know I suppose I should take Pyro's advice and read the next book...
