Re: Game of Thrones: Season 3. TV Series Discussion. NO BOOK SPOILERS...NONE

Certainly Theon deserves to be dead, but I never looked at Theon as somebody like Joffrey who should be tortured for weeks, months, etc. Maybe a little bit, but he's suffering more than he made anyone else suffer.

Maybe one reason I look at it differently is because Ramsay isn't doing it to punish Theon for his crimes, it's just for fun. If he was at least doing it because he was somebody who was close with the Starks and wanted blood I'd probably sympathize less with Theon than I do.

Yeah Ramsey is a sadist, he just enjoys watching people suffer. He is pretty much true evil without going into spoiler territory. I find him to be worse than Joffrey which is saying a lot.

Jon does say "do you know why my name is Snow?" to someone and explains it. I forgot who and which episode though.

Yeah, I definately agree that he's worse than Joffrey. The only other person in his category for me is Gregor and even then, I'd give the slight edge to Ramsay in the sick department.

Yeah, that was to Sam.

"Because you're a bastard, from the North".

He was explaining why he backed out of his meeting with a whore (presumably Ros from the description) when they were cleaning the mess hall and it was because he didn't want to give birth to another bastard.

"So, you really didn't know how to put it in"

Ah yes, I remember now. It was when I really started to warm to Sam, not that I didn't like him in the first place.

Ramsey is a piece of trash but you can't feel bad for Theon Greyjoy when you rewatch some scenes of previous seasons. he is a major prick

It's kind of an awkward story plot. You dislike both Ramsay and Theon.

Kinda ready for it to end.

He was a major prick but I think him pouring his heart out to Ramsay and telling him how much he regrets his decisions redeems him somewhat. That's why I feel bad for him.

I thought Theon was the best part of season 2. I'm glad they kept him around in season 3.

Mmm, I don't think him and Ramsay needed so much screen time though. Minor complaint though since Iwan Rheon really has shone as Ramsay. Always thought he was the most talented actor on Misfits.
