Oh jesus christ you can't be serious? God damn that's hilarious for all the wrong reasons.

I never knew Charlie was with the Waitress in real life but I smiled immediately when I found out. Adds to every scene and hint of disgust from her towards him. Also a big fan of the recurring Dennis/Waitress scenes where he shows complete disgust and apathy towards her whilst she tries desperately to pretend she's not interested in him.

Re: TV Show Thread: Season/Series 2 (NO FUCKING SPOILERS)

Seabs was spot on that Frank becomes amazing in Seasons 7 & 8. I mean, he was always great as the mentally unhinged psychopath and provided for some great moments (endings to Hundred Dollar Baby & The Gang wrestles for the Troops are two of my favourite endings to an episode ever) but in the last 2 seasons he just became sensational. His involvement in 'Sweet Dee Gets Audited' & 'Charlie's Mom has Cancer' in particular are two of the best moments from both seasons.

He's done such a great job tbf to come in after Season 1 and make himself feel like a necessary character who's integral to the show. Obviously he was only absent for the first season and has had 7 seasons in which to make himself a presence on the show, but its still great on De Vito's part to make Frank the character he is.

Re: TV Show Thread: Season/Series 2 (NO FUCKING SPOILERS)

He felt like one of them in the last 2 seasons rather than a special guest in every episode. If that makes sense. Definitely came into his own by then anyway.

Found out about Charlie/Waitress at about S4 and that made all The Waitress episodes that much better. Especially the rays of light Charlie gets. A restraining order being cut from 100ft to 50ft might be the most touching moment in the show. Super. I love how nobody even cares to remember her name and that one time where she just flat acknowledges that.

I'm actually super hyped to watch BSG at this point. I really hope once I start singing its praises that everyone suddenly watches it after taking no notice of Eric all these years

It starts with a Miniseries Cal.

Too much commitment for you.

Re: TV Show Thread: Season/Series 2 (NO FUCKING SPOILERS)

That's a great summary tbh. He and Dee really began to show more to their characters instead of Charlie, Mac & Dennis being the prominent 'dysfucntional' ones. Both obviously always added to episodes, but you really began to see the merit in a Frank or Dee centred episode having as much potential as any other character being the centre of an episode.

Think the show also deserves credit for pulling off split stories meticulously. Sometimes Community and especially Modern Family suffers from too many split stories taking time away from each other and forcing the jokes to constantly land to make each story bearable, but with Its Always Sunny you never get a 'wasted' side story and everything seems to flow to perfection and add to an episode rather than ruining the flow.

Absolutely loved that Waitress scene in the Hospital. Song in the background playing over it just added to the comedy. Loved how they've teased Charlie getting close (New Jersey & Reunion episodes) only for it to fall apart at the last second. Loved how the Waitress has also gradually moved away from Dennis to outright despising him even though you know she'd shag him in an instant because she's that fucked up most of the time. Dennis suggesting she refer to herself as simply 'Waitress' had me in stitches. The joke of her being the most irrelevant person in High School to the point that she's the only one alongside the gang not invited to the after party was also another great payoff.

Yeah, you're right. Not even I will go to all that trouble to potentially annoy you slightly.
