Finished Season 4 of Its Always Sunny. Aside from having the one and only episode I've disliked so far it was another triumph of a season, though I'm going to say I slightly preferred Season 3.

Spoiler for Thoughts:
Luckily the Extreme Home Makeover and Nightman Cometh episodes followed the disappointing Episode 11 and were two of my favourites. The opening in Extreme Make Over where they remove the Mexican family from the house was one of my favourite scenes the show's done. Just sensational in how misguided and warped it was and how they can't see past how it would be interpreted to an outsider. The Nightman Cometh was a Charlie showcase. His backstage reactions to Dee's impromptu song and Mac/Dennis messing up the 'rape scene' were hysterical. Loved how he tried to woo the Waitress at the end only to fail. Comfortably going to say Charlie dominated episodes are by far the show's best at this time.

Who Pooped the Bed & Paddy's Bar: Worst in Philadelphia were great back to back episodes. Mac's reaction to finding a turd in the bed was the best moment of the season. So dramatic in spite of how ridiculous it was. Loved how one moment of recklessness from Charlie led to a domino effect of bad decisions by the gang in kidnapping the reviewer. Dennis & Dee kidnapping his friend was hilarious.

Seabs you're in for a treat with Parks & Rec this week. After a two week break they might have returned with the best outing yet.

Spoiler for ramblings:
So many great character interactions this episode. Leslie/Ron, April/Ann & Chris/Tom were all sensational. Loved how they can do a Leslie/Ron disagreement two episodes after the emotional wedding and Ron giving her away and make it seem authentic and based on personal views that seem realistic and not lazy.

"Its a heartwarming story, but its simply not believeable. That's why I'm giving E.T 1 and a half stars". Perd Hapley ladies and gentlemen. Why on earth did that show get canned? I'll bet it was Jamm. The bastard.

Sorry Rob Lowe, but Adam Scott surged back ahead in the would be battle of facial expressions. Ben's reactions to Jean Ralphio's appearances, as well as Mona Lisa talking about needing to 'wax her B' & Jerry's stuttering at the end slayed me. The fact he had that perplexed expression whilst falling to the floor as Jean Ralphio wouldn't give him room for space was sensational.

So guessing that potential employee for Cal's job who was terrible was in fact Mona Lisa? She's the WORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRST. Speaking of which, how great is it that Jean Ralphio's sister is called 'Mona Lisa'. Amazing. Sad to see his recent run in with the law regarding counterfeit euros hasn't deterred his crime ambitions though.

Ann & April were amazing. Rashida Jones is so brilliant at playing Ann when she's obsessed with making an impression on someone and every scene they had was great. April with the syringe near her neck when being told she would have to befriend April, April's answers to the question of her perfect man, painting 'Ann Sucks' onto her fingernails, looking horrified as Ann forces her to pick a girl from Sex & The City she most resembles and the duet with Ann and later Donna was magical. Loved how the payoff didn't feel tacky and convulted but rather that April could sympathise and give encouragement to Ann when she was suffering. April has never been a bully but rather quirky and its great continuity that if ever she was to show kindess towards Ann, that it would come about when Ann was clearly in distress and upset.

Loved the satire on pretentious arthouses with Dennis not even having localised food but rather Bulgarian imports. I bet Bubz is a subscriber. Wanted to make a Michael Le Vell joke about 'tears of my blowhole' but am running short on ideas atm. Curse my desire for perfection.

The streamer who constantly antagonised Dennis & Leslie with his desire to share the beauty of streaming. What a git.

"Your uter-you and uter-me can now be a uter-us". Oh Chris, what a belter of a line. Special mention to him sitting uncomfortably close to Tom on the couch, his reaction to Mona Lisa's need to wax her lemon & the way he complimented Tom on his 'adorable belly'. Tom channeling a little child with his enthusiasm here also made me smile. But not like how it would make Michael Le Vell smile. Boom! Naiiiiiiiiled it.

Ron's giggle when the VideoDrome caters to Porn enthusiasts. It was infectious.

Jerry's speech to Chris was a really nice moment and well delivered by Jim O'Heir. Another example of how tastefully the show can handle intimate and powerful scenes and the way they effortlessly went into a joke at his expense with him stumbling over his words because 'nobody ever lets me talk this long' was incredible. Special props to Chris recognising the message in Jerry's speech and them avoiding poking fun at the derailment of his speech.

Ron picking the salad off of his platter for 12 and saying it wouldn't be needed. How on earth do these places still not know salad his not a diatery habit of his? Loved the line about Capitalism 'making America great, England OK & France terrible'.

DONG SWANSON . Oh man, the best way to end the episode and plug in a pun with the ArtHouse becoming a porn shop.

How could I possibly get more hyped for an episode of PARKS.

Finished Season 3 of Always Sunny. The show keeps getting better and better
Spoiler for thoughts:
Isn't an episode that I wouldn't call great all season. Best episode of the season would be a toss up between "Dennis and Dee's Mom Is Dead", "The Gang Gets Held Hostage" and any of the last 3 episodes. The side cast are really coming into their own now too. Wasn't sold on the McPoyle's until the fantastic Hostage episode. Cricket's just as great in the last few episodes and I love the dynamic between Charlie, The Waitress and Dennis with The Waitress despising Charlie for creepin on her and then doing the exact same to Dennis. Charlie's retardidness coming into it's own this season ruled and I love the minor recurring themes like Dennis and Dee's psychology degree and Frank's visit to Vietnam. And Special Agent Jack Bauer is indeed indestructible. DAYMAN is so great as well.

2 episodes into Season 4 now and those first 2 might be 2 of the best episodes to date. 402 IS my favourite episode to date. I was in stitches at the ending. WILDCARD!

Spoiler for thoughts:
Alluminium Monster vs Fatty Magoo is still my favourite episode overall, but you're right there's nothing really below great throughout Season 3. Agreed with the rest of your thoughts really. Charlie being retarded was brilliant and without spoiling anything it is something that becomes a recurring joke that will pop up enough to be a welcome surprise. The Waitress triangle with Charlie & Dennis is wonderful. She hates Charlie in spite of the fact he cares for her the way she wishes Dennis did and the chemistry between all 3 is wonderful. 'The Gang sells out' was an inspired episode to demonstrate how horrible they are as a group when you put them into the perspective of another person: i.e them getting her fired by stealing and drinking on the job.

Not sure if you're aware, but Charlie & The Waitress are together in real life. Found that out a week and a bit ago and its great they went with her as the object of his affection he can never hope to have. Another thing I love about their dynamic is how every once in a while they'll expand on things Charlie has done in his pursuit of her.

'Mac is a Serial Killer' is still one of my favourite Charlie dominated episodes. Charlie channeling Law & Order was amazing and the Serpico angle in Episode 14 had me in stitches.

All I can say about the Dayman is brace yourself for the Season 4 finale, oh man is it wonderful .

@ WILDCARD. Adored that bit. The way he bails out immediately afterwards was tremendous.

Spoiler for Rose Brothers business - everyone else keep out:
Yeah Dee & Mac are together. Pretty weird but also hilarious at the same time. Apparently they wanted more well known actors originally to play the gang but decided against it/couldn't afford it and went with playing the characters themselves instead. So happy they went in that direction. I'd say it could be Dee who did that but let's just say Season 5 Episode 2 makes it unlikely for her to be in possession of a car.

FIGHTER OF THE NIGHTMAN. Dennis' singing in that cracks me up everytime.

I think I recall someone saying that in here before actually. It's pretty crazy to think of anyone else playing them characters because they're so perfectly cast in them roles without even being cast.

Yeah, think it was blarg or someone who was recommending the show to me in the old thread shortly before it got canned for this one. Obviously with Mac being the creator and all of them having a hand in writing and producing the show the material will obviously have greater input from all so its essentially them bringing their own ideas to the screen and bringing it to life. Works so much better as opposed to actors merely reading the lines as they all have such a large input in every aspect of the show that it feels more personal on their part.

De Vito has done excellent tbf to come in and make himself feel like a part of the group and not a character that's un-needed. Compare that to Jennifer Coolidge or more specifically Megan Mullaly who struggled in Party Down to essentially make a successful presence on the show in light of Jane Lynch's departure, the ability of De Vito to come in after the others had laid the groundwork for their characters and plots and become a huge part of the show is great testament to his skill.

Yeah, I remember one of the cast members (I think it was Glenn Howerton at Comicon) talking about how it started off as a short project that evolved into a pilot which FX picked up, and there was contemplation of getting actual actors to play the roles since no one in the gang had any type of acting experience. Turned out great as they fleshed out their characters quite fast, and the chemistry between them is irreplaceable.

Speaking of the cast members, i'm sure you devirginized Sunny fans will be pleased of this news. THEY'RE REPLACING THE CAST!
