Nice list, how long did that take you?

Props for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I assume you mean Fincher's version since the original came out in '09. If so, fuck yes I love that film.

Great to see someone else that likes Harvey! I barely know anyone that has seen that film, yet alone likes it.

I might think about mine and post at a later date.

Default Re: Favorite Films By Year

I tried it but at 1930 i was to tired to continue.

It's also too difficult, take for example 1928, and you have The Crowd, October, Passion of Joan d'Arc and The Wind. I just imagine myself pickin a film from 1959 (one of the few year i know well) and my head explode

It can be like Hanoi said of we can pick 10 films for decade. Is more easy in that way and you don't forze people to let infinte of years in blank

Whatever, since 1915 until 1930 that was when i gave up:

1915: Les Vampires (Louis Feuillade)
1916: Intolerance (D. W. Grffith)
1917: Terje Vigen (Viktor Sjostrom)
1918:
1919: Broken Blossoms (D. W. Griffith)
1920: Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari (Robert Wiene)
1921: Körkarlen (Viktor Sjostrom)
1922: Dr. Mabuse (Fritz Lang)
1923: La roue (Abel Gance)
1924: der letzte mann (F. W. Murnau)
1925: Bronenosets Potyomkin (Sergei Eisenstein)
192&: The general (Buster Keaton)
1927: Sunrise: a song of two humans (F. W. Murnau)
1928: The Wind (Viktor Sjostrom)
1929: The Man with the Movie camera (Dziga Vertov)
1930: M (Fritz Lang)
1931: City Lights (Charlie Chaplin)

Not even close to being awful, but to each his own. Hanks' second Academy Award says hi.
