540? The fishman arc was filled with so much filler it was annoying as hell. If you are like me and read the manga chapters first then your like this shit is taking forever to get to the good fights... Animation could be much better as well considering how good the Marineford arc looked animated.

Re: Anime Discusssion Thread

Naruto had like 100 episodes of filler in a row didn't it? I only remember one or 2 filler arcs in One Piece.

The original had so many fillers it pissed me off, thank God they stopped that bullshit with Shippuden. They could have literally made an entire spin off based on Naruto's filler it had so much.

I remember Naruto being very popular a while ago. Is it still popular?

Generally speaking, yes, though in this time and age it's a "hit or miss" situation. Personally, I haven't touched it since the beginning of Shippuden, and have zero intent to follow up beyond the ninja trials.

Kinda declined when they stopped showing it on popular channels in the US and Canada. I used to watch it like I used to watch DBZ, a must see. But now I just read the Manga. Stopped watching the anime around Killer Bee vs Kisame inside that aqua dome.

I would've put Detective Conan on my list if it wasn't for the fillers :'(

My favorite animes

4-Naruto
Bad show, but it had what lots of other shows didn't have: That feeling/atmosphere that brings you in and makes you want to watch more and more. Sometimes I wonder why I still read the manga..

3-One Piece
It's One Piece, damn it! You don't need a reason to love it

2-Fate/Zero
This show was just amazing. It had everything: Story, characters, fights, everything. The protagonist was just so good you can hate him/love him on numerous occasions. I loved Kiritsugu's relationship with his daughter Ilya and his wife Iri, it was just beautiful, yet so tragic.

1-Hunter x Hunter
Everything a great shounen should be. Has the story, characters, plot, amazing arcs, amazing power system that leaves no place for plotholes. It can be violent, but it can also be very warming. Can't help but to rank Hunter x Hunter as my favorite anime/manga of all time

Marks: Daniel Bryan,CM Punk,R-Truth,Mick Foley,Mr Anderson(even though i dont watch TNA XD).
