Yeah, probably the best episode of the season. Highlighted everyone's strengths perfectly. Glad to see the Dean in a dress up but not as a woman. I like the Abed voice overs where its about him but not about him if that makes sense. As opposed to the first ep inside his head, here its voiceovers in his head but about the rest of the group which is far better. Pierce's 'Its meta, Abed gets it' line was great.
Troy was brilliant as usual, and Britta was great this ep as well.
Wasn't a fan besides Jeff's super speech and Shirley humming Troy's jingle from the Halloween episode last season that pops up like every 10 episodes. Other than it wasn't really funny and the Shirley arc was terrible.
Location: Golfing with Stephen Hawking, he lied about his handicap. Didn't need a golf cart though, I just sat in his lap.
Re: Community Season 4 Discussion Thread
Might have been my favourite episode of the season, either that or Episode 4. Jeff was great with the obsession of Chang and I liked how the episode was based around the documentary and the roles each character had in it, rather than series of different stories competing for enough time to deliver a series of gags. Troy & Annie were great as the investigative duo with Troy's looks into the camera and the lengths he went to in order to be the polar opposite of Annie standing out. Britta pulling an error only she could with the camera and cutting Shirley's story as well as her interaction with the Doctor at the start 'that's why its controversial' were both great and made for probably her best episode yet. Abed being in the background and just relegated to the odd meta line and narration was the perfect use for him and The Dean made great use of his limited time.
I don't think I'll ever tire of Garrett and his constant failings. Stuff like him collapsing in the Study Room will never tire for me. Reveal at the end of the episode was what it was. Pretty obvious it was going to end with him being proven to be a fake because its Chang, but interested on who he's working with. Sad to see how redundant a character Pierce is nowadays and its clear he's just been given the bare minimum to hold over until his exit, don't even pay attention to much of his scenes anymore.
