Re: TV shows you have gone off?

I tried watching How I Met Your Mother and watched the first season until I realized that it just wasn't funny.

Re: TV shows you have gone off?

I used to religiously watch The Simpsons, but it has long since jumped the shark.

I was one of the ones supporting Family Guy from day one. I remember watching the pilot episode the night of the Super Bowl and constantly trying to convince people how awesome it was. Here we are about 14 years later, now it was worn itself, run its well dry, and is pretty hard to watch, and I am one of the few people I know that isn't watching it.

Someone wrote an excellent blog entry on that show and why they hate it.

It is actually a really good read.

Personally, I wouldn't look too far in to a show, I just watch it for entertainment, not getting in to all the little details about it, but, the blog entry was great and made you think of things you probably never really thought of while watching it.

The Simpsons. It just isn't funny anymore. At all.
Family guy. Same as the Simpsons, although they can get a couple of laughs out of me.
Chuck.
Glee. I got tired of the impromptu musicals. It just became an irritating show in general. I used to love this show, but one day I found an episode on my DVR, decided to watch it, and then gave up 3 seconds in. That's when I decided to stop watching.
Covert Affairs. For some reason I find this show insanely boring now.

An Idiot Abroad - First series was fantastic. Second and third were disappointing.
i think the Big Bang Theory is show which is going to finish in the next 2 or 3 series unless there is some sort of change in the story , they all seem to have settle down and when that happens , you know the show is coming towards the end.

Re: TV shows you have gone off?

Television in general. I used to watch it religiously, and then after college BOOM. I stopped cold turkey.....however I still watch Shark Week on Discovery Channel. That's like a holiday for me basically.
