Rhino and Carnage as well. But Spiderman always pulled through. I think with the Venom/Carnage team up, spiderman actually had to get the host of Venom to jump ship (from the 90's series, I believe).

Re: Apocalypse (from X Men)

That X-Cutioners song was the first crossover I ever read. Good stuff IMO.

Also I wonder if they will ever debut Apocalypse in an X-Men film. Still waiting for sinister as well.

Same here, but xavier being dead, I don't even think they will continue the live action films.

Re: Apocalypse (from X Men)

They're saying since Day of Future Past is about time travel that may erase the whole crappy plot of X3.

Apocalypse was the shit

but Onslaught was a God
I just always saw it as a better series than the constant switching of horsemen

I heard that they are planning an X-Men 4, and like McQueen said the time travel could potentially wipe out any occurrence of events that happened in the past in order to prevent something from happening in the future. I am leaning on them doing that because Brett Ratner screwed up "The Phoenix" storyline and killed off Cyclops and Xavier in X3.

i doubt it. they seem to stay away from the more fantastical characters in the movies (except for the whole mutant thing obviously. maybe this time travel shit is a step in the right direction

Do you mean this metaphorically? Cuz my understanding is that Onslaught was a metaphysical entity derived from a combination of the thought patterns of both Xavier and Mags.
I haven't read the follow up though so maybe they've changed up the mythology.
