I've never heard of it. Is it more recent or really old?

I would have said Angel Heart because DeNiro is a BOSS in it but that is Rourke's film.

Re: Favorite Robert De Niro movie that you've seen

WOW , no love for Awakenings? he so different in it than any other movie and not to throw a spoiler ( don't read this part if you are planning to watch this ) but the scene where he meets his mom after 30 years and also the scene he says goodbye and watches his love for the last time always gets me. it's a tearjerker for real. highly recommended , good all around movie but De Niro is totally AWESOME in it. i would go as far as say he carries the whole movie with his character.

Angel Heart is a hell of a film. Nice choice.

He is really fantastic in Scorsese King of comedy, just a brilliant performance which had me in stitches. Very good script and some excellent dialogue.
