Default Re: 2013 OSCAR NOMINATIONS

Lol The oscars never dissapoint in his awfulness

Outside the Bigelow and Tarantino (wich i haven't seen) i find all the nominees for best movie horribles, and Amour getting a nomination is a sign of the awful year of america's cinema.

Best foreign language is even worse, outside Amour and maybe, maybe No (horrible movies imo but Amour has the critical acclaim and Haneke is a famous filmmaker) the movies in the list are movies with no impact whatsoever, with people no one has heard and wich hasn't had an impact in important festivals. Wich shows again the little sintony hollywood has with the current tendecies and his stupid ethnocentrism

I haven't seen Armour or Beast of the Southern Wild. I think that's a good thing, I mean I've kept up with movie releases this year. so if those slipped passed me but still got nominated the Academy is at least recognizing movies that didn't just get lots of publicity.

and Skyfall got a few too

Haven't paid the Oscars any mind since Reese Witherspoon won best actress and Return of the King swept the fucker.

Best Picture

Django would be a nice upset, but more than likely either Lincoln or Zero will take this.

Best Director

Speilberg seems to have this won with Bigelow being snubbed. Russell might get an upset though, since Playbook has gotten so many rave reviews.

Best Actor

Hackman or Phoenix could get an upset, but my money is still on Day-Lewis, who deserves this win by miles.

Best Actress

It's down to Chastain or Lawrence. Love them both, but Chastain will more than likely take it.

Best Supporting Actor

It's cool to be DeNiro get another nod, his first in 21 years. However, either Hoffman or Jones will take it home. Seeing Jones win a 2nd time would be awesome, he's my fave to win this one.

Best Supporting Actress

Field is probably the best one in this bunch, but since she's got two wins already, they will probably give it to Adams or Weaver in an upset.

Best Writing – Original Screenplay

I want Django to win this one, another kickass script from the Q.

Best Writing – Adapted Screenplay

As adaptations go, Playbook did it best.

I don't care about the rest. So glad The Sessions got snubbed, figured they would hand Best Actor to Hawkes, what an overrated piece of shit film. This is a really good year for the Oscars.
