Outside the Bigelow and Tarantino (wich i haven't seen) i find all the nominees for best movie horribles, and Amour getting a nomination is a sign of the awful year of america's cinema.

Best foreign language is even worse, outside Amour and maybe, maybe No (horrible movies imo but Amour has the critical acclaim and Haneke is a famous filmmaker) the movies in the list are movies with no impact whatsoever, with people no one has heard and wich hasn't had an impact in important festivals. No worries, Affleck wasn't gonna win Best Director anyway, no way with Speilberg, Russell and Bigelow around. Of course, they snubbed her but that still leaves the other two. Argo was a bit run of the mill if you ask me. Certainly nowhere near as good as Zero.
