So all the indie, not english, hell even the UK cinema doesn't count.

Good to know

And not, this year has been average, just like last year

Would I write a book? Or should I take to the stage?

Sounds like you haven't seen Mud.

As long as there's a Triforce, there will be a Zelda;
as long as there's a prosperous kingdom, there will be an evil bent on destroying it;
and as long as there's an oppressive force threatening Hyrule, there will be a boy...

in a green tunic, silver shield, and magic blade to stand against it.

Re: 2013 has been a shitty year for movies so far

I've enjoyed a decent amount of films at the theater this year. OP, what are the two movies you like from 2013 so far?

Mine are Oblivion, Pain & Gain, Iron Man 3, Fast 6, Man Of Steel, Pacific Rim, Fruitvale Station, Elysium, The Conjuring, and The Butler.

Now that's not to say any of them were mind-blowing pieces of film but I was entertained by every movie I mentioned. On DVD I enjoyed Snitch, Parker, and Olympus Has Fallen. So maybe 2013 has not been the year of *great* movies but there are enjoyable ones out there.

I need to see this myself plus The Place Beyond The Pines and Only God Forgives. I should make a stop at the Redbox tomorrow for Mud.

I got new money and it's all cash

Kick Ass 2
Wolverine
Spring Breakers
Elysium

And that's pretty much all the films I have enjoyed so far this year so I should of stated I enjoyed at least 4 movies this year in the OP. Now there have been some films that I have seen that were good but none that I would ever wanna watch again. Compared to 2012 which I thought was a awesome year in movies this year has been a big letdown.

Not a great year but decent. The next two years will be better.

going into stupid posts thread...

because you didn't like the movies it's been a bad year? you haven't seen many movies then apparently.

Pacific Rim
Iron Man 3
Star Trek: Into Darkness
World war Z
Fast 6
Oz: The Great and Powerful
This is the End
Evil Dead
Only God Forgives
The Place beyond the Pines
Stoker
Gangster Squad
Elysium
Kickass 2

and these are just the movies that have come out so far, it's only going to get better. You're probably just comparing it to the Avengers Summer we've recently had. Most summers will fail to compete with that. 2012 was a shitty summer, but Avengers made up for everything.
