Your Top 5 Favorite Movies

So, your Fave Five. Your Top Five. Your High Five.

What are your top five favorite movies?

a) say your top 5 favorite movies

b) feel free to back up why (I know I have to)

1.) Rocky
2.) Crank (love it. Action. Silliness. Great Editing.)
3.) House of Flying Daggers (beautiful. Great action, Great romance story)
4.) Gentleman's Agreement (great story. great acting)
5.) West Side Story (great movie)

EDIT: To make this more fun:

You should list your top 5 favorites from each genre (action, horror, sci-fi, drama...)

Re: Your Top 5 Favorite Movies

Fuckin' hell, this will be hard. Here goes nothing.

1) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - I had a room full of TMNT stuff and aside from animated features, this was one of the earliest films I remember seeing.
2) Bride of Chucky - Terrified of horror films when I was younger, this pretty much broke my "horror cherry".
3) Hellboy - Fun, fun comic book movie. Suck on that Batman!
4) Child's Play - My first horror movie on dvd, it started my descent (or ascent?) into scare flicks.
5) Scott Pilgrim vs The World - This film is a fucking drug. I can't stop watching it.

Re: Your Top 5 Favorite Movies

Crank happens to be one of my least favorite movies of all time, coincidentally.

1 Lord of The Rings - The Two Towers
2-3 (Tie) Lord Of The Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring and LOTR - The Return of the King
4 The Shawshank Redemption
5 Four way tie between Batman Begins, The Silence of the Lambs, Toy Story and Reservoir Dogs

I also really like JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR but I was too embarrassed to put it on my all time list. It probably wouldn't be top 5 anyway.

Re: Your Top 5 Favorite Movies

1- Griffin and Phoenix - Love story that is really worthy to watch if you like to cry like a baby.
2- PS I love you- This movie is simply beautiful. One of the few cases in life where the movie is way better then the book.
3- Batman - The dark knight rises- The others as well though, they are all a most watch IMO.
4- The Emperors New Groove- Got to have a disney movie of your choice, never forget that no matter what age you have, you should not EVER forget you were once a kid. This movie is hilarious, watched it over and over again when I was younger, will watch it again now because of the mention.
5- Waiting/Still Waiting- This comedy is great, especially if you have ever worked in a restaurant before. Naomi alone is a character that will make you laugh like a retard.

There, not many classics to brag about a movie culture that I do not own. Still, this movies are great, each one in different occasions.

number one fan

The Godfather Part II
The Godfather
The Goonies

I think the Godfather movies are the best movies ever made & the bottom three movies pretty much made up my entire childhood.
