Why I mentioned Body Heat and Basic instinct was that in addition to the scenes, they had good dialogue and build up as well.
Anyone know films like those?

I thought Mullohand drive was supposed to be, like, a horror film and i don't think they intended for it to be sexy.
That rewinding scene, I know they must have had god intentions, but it just made a bad movie worse for me.

Just read Hitmark's post. You can have a sexy scene in a movie while that movie isn't overall sexy. And you think Mulholland Dr. is bad? WHY

From what I understand its just the guy remembering his relationship with this girl and basically they went to concerts and fucked. I remember reading the review in an EW way way back.

I haven't actually seen 9 Songs so can't comment on the presence or lack of story. It's just infamously known for having unsimulated graphic sex scenes.
