Overrated: Jim Carrey, Ray Liotta, Kevin Costner, John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sharon Stone, Bruce Willis, Gerard Butler, Russell Crowe. Oh & most definitely John Wayne.

Maybe I'm fortunate enough to have only seen John Wayne's epic performance in The Searchers. I understand that he was not the most versatile of performers.
Does Sharon Stone really get that much praise. She got a deserved Oscar nom for Casino but otherwise she was just in the spotlight it seemed for her looks and willingness to get naked in pretty much every movie she starred in.

If the Robin Williams looney toons routine is highly rated then pop that in the scrapbook too.
Could have been one of the greats if he had stuck to the quiet, understated roles that he truly excels at.

Surprised Charlize Theron isn't mentioned yet. I, for one, find her to be overrated. The only semi- decent role she's ever been in is Monster. That's it.
